We have reduced the distance between us and our suppliers. More freshness, less environmental impact.
We use PET packaging that is completely recyclable. PET processing saves up to 50% energy compared to producing new material. PET is a noble and environmentally friendly plastic, which can be easily recycled and used to make other products.
Another important objective is the circular economy. Firmly convinced of this, we have reduced industrial waste to zero, recovering it and sending it to authorised plants for the production of bio mass and renewable energy. Another precious commodity we safeguard is water.
In our plants, the water that is used for cooling is recovered in special tanks, cooled, and sent back into production. This allows us to save millions of cubic metres of water over the course of the year.
The company’s next goal is to enhance the use of renewable energy to meet production energy needs in a sustainable way by 2026.
